The Anime Awards are trash

This year was the worst yet, and it really felt like a cash grab. It was as if they literally picked the most controversial nominees just to create drama. It felt like they deliberately gave awards to the fan favorite anime instead of the ones that actually deserved the awards. To think that the anime which literally copied 80% of its animation straight from another anime won best anime of the year really makes me question the jurors. I am done with this award show. If it’s going to be 90% be a cash grab and 10% actual awards then I don’t want any part in it.
