Man, this site has gone downhill. Anime will never be the same.

I remember the mid-to-late 2000s, when anime was at its best. Shonen was awesome, the anime industry actually made an effort to create amazing shows, and nearly all the dubs were top-notch. Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan - just to name a few. I remember the sad feeling I got the first time I finished a series. Then the wave of Isekai came, and sure, some of them were good, but the majority of them felt cheap and rushed, like the writers didn't even put any effort into creating the show. They were mass-producing anime at this point, sacrificing quality for popularity and views. I felt like there was an anime for every person, but then it just felt like there was an anime for *every single person*. It just wasn't the same as it used to be.
