It's okay to suck at exams

The title is pretty self-explanatory, and I think we need to acknowledge this. I'm just coming out of middle school, and A LOT of students around me are so stressed about exams and failing and stuff like that. But I would like to say it's okay to fail. In my school, the exam period is pretty much a "let's test how well you can cram stuff" kind of thing. It's not an accurate reflection of intelligence, it's just a pretty standard protocol.

Even if you fail, it's okay. The thing is, all these exams are just a stepping stone that helps you grow in life. If you fail these exams, you're probably going to have a pretty bad day, but it's not the end of the world. You'll just have an extra year at middle school and then at the end of that, you can go to highschool either way. It's just an extra year. And besides, if you're not good at test taking, why would this be a problem? Test taking is in fact just a small portion of life.

Exams in school don't really represent how good you are in life. They are just a grading system that has no relation whatsoever with how successful you are going to be in life. In fact, most successful people are bad at exams. And the harder you work on your exams, the less time you have to do what you really like. In conclusion, it's okay to suck at exams, and it's okay to take extra time to pass it. It's not the end of the world, and you'll grow up to be a fine person either way.
