I (26F) and my husband (31M) have been together for 2 years we got married last year and have been in the process of having a baby for more than one year, after I couldn’t conceive naturally for more than one year, I went to do some fertility tests, and I was told that it might be due to my PCOS, so the gynecologist recommended me to use fertility medications in order to help me conceive, I didn’t conceive and I had to do IUI, I did 4 IUIs, but it didn’t work and I was told that I have to do IVF, I was so excited about it, because I was certain that it was going to work but unfortunately, it didn’t and it failed twice, my husband and I were told that we have no choice but to use surrogacy or adopt a baby, and I was so happy and relieved because I don’t care about gestating my baby, all I care about is being a mother, but when I was in the process of finding a surrogate mother and getting much information regarding surrogacy I was going to announce it to him, and I was shocked when he told me that he wants me to be the one to carry the baby, so I told him what’s wrong with surrogacy? He didn’t give me any answer and told me that I have to carry the baby or he will go to court, I was speechless and I couldn’t say anything except that I couldn’t carry the baby because I have PCOS issue, but he didn’t care about anything and I don’t know what to do.

**UPDATE**
People are asking me if I have problems with surrogacy because it’s a sin or something else, I have no problem with it, I’m being against it because I have PCOS.

* My surrogacy process was cancelled so I have to do IVF.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you who took the time to write to me and give me advice.
