When you are in Israel, every day is a miracle

Every time I arrive at Ben Gurion airport I feel as if I'm about to cry. The emotion is so strong. I am *home*. I am *safe* and *welcomed*. <br><br>The land of Israel is a gift from Hashem. It is a G-dly place, full of light, beauty and incredible kindness.<br><br>Thanks to a great miracle, a homeland for the Jewish people was rebuilt in 1948.<br><br>We are free. Other people want to help us (who are not Jewish), we love and thank them for their kindness. <br><br>I pray that we in Israel will continue to live in peace and prosperity, with love, mutual respect and understanding between all of us.<br><br>May we never forget from where we come and to whom we owe our existence.<br><br>You don't have to be Jewish to love Israel. Just remember we have tried to make peace with our neighbors, countless times. We have nothing against the Palestinians, we just want to live in peace among the nations like everyone else.<br><br>Some are jealous of Israel, many are confused or misinformed.<br><br>*Israel is not an apartheid state.*<br><br>We never attacked first in war, and we always warn our enemies before we destroy their targets. <br><br>*Israel is a beacon of light in the world.*<br><br>We educate and help other countries to prosper, with new solutions for their problems. *Israel is not a racist country.* <br><br>Israel is built by Jewish people from *all over the world* and we still welcome immigrants today. If you convert to Judaism and become a part of our people - you can even live in Israel if you want to.<br><br>*Israel is not the aggressor and occupier in the Middle East.*<br><br>The Palestinians would be free today if they had accepted the partition plan in 1948. They chose not to and tried to kill us instead.<br><br>Israel is not the doing everything perfectly. But we are trying.<br><br>If you are still confused, please come *visit Israel*. Come and see us with your own eyes. <br><br>Every day in Israel is a *miracle*.
