What would Happen if the US were to Legalize all Narcotics?

I don't mean just weed. I mean if the US were to adopt a Portugal-esque system where we didn't have laws on the books against the casual possession of drugs, what would happen? How would the drug trade change? Would overdose deaths spike or decline? How would the medical system change? How would the black market change now that people know they won't get arrested for needing help? What would happen with Fentanyl and how would that change the game? How would widespread use of drugs change our approach to public safety? How would the economy be affected? How would the housing market and popularity of certain cities change? How would unions be affected?<br><br>I'm Just curious.
