Schrodinger's Woman - She is both a childfree feminist and a single mother in need of a provider. She both does not need a man and she does.

I'd been pondering the "women don't need men" rhetoric, then it clicked. They don't need men, until they do. They don't want kids, until they do. They do not want to be treated like a child, until you don't treat them like one. They do not need a provider, until they do. They do not need a man, until they do. But when they do, they better be treated as an adult, and get what they want.

I've concluded that women exist in a state of superposition - both states that are in opposition exist at the same time, like spinning clockwise and counterclockwise at the same time. This is why they can't answer direct questions, as soon as you force them to commit to one answer, the others disappear. This is why they are shocked when you choose not to play a role.
