How much dialogue is too much dialogue?

I think my dialogue is balanced if you want to know my why--but how do I know? Or how do I know it's not? What ways can I pick up through self editing?<br><br>I'm writing in fantasy/military with a heavy focus on unit life. I'm also doing a bunch of moments with characters talking to their commands and so forth, and I'm really worried about the info dumping through dialogue, but I have no idea how to really identify that.<br><br>I don't read a lot for pleasure, not enough to confirm if what I'm doing is natural/sufficient, and I'm developing a huge case of writer's block due to this, so I need some help determining how much of my dialogue is too much for the reader.<br><br>TL;DR: How do I know if I have too much dialogue, and how do I evaluate it?
