It seems like history is being erased or flattened or something, and it’s frustrating because I can’t really put my finger on what I mean.

I’m not sure what I’m talking about. There’s a lot of nostalgia on the internet and I see people romanticizing past decades like the 80s and 90s, but I think there’s something more to it. It’s not just nostalgia. History is being erased or something. I can’t really describe it. It seems like nobody really knows much about the world pre-internet. I think we are losing our sense of history, our understanding of cause and effect, how the world came to be this way. I think obviously this is intentional. I don’t know.
