I'm a 5th year aerospace engineer and looking to transition to finance. What steps should I take?

I'm a 5th year aerospace engineer with a degree from a top 3 aerospace program and magnum cum laude GPA. I am looking to transition to finance due to aerospace being a declining industry. I interned at Northrop Grumman and worked full-time for 2 years before being laid off due to budget cuts.<br><br>I am positive I want to make a career change, but I am unsure of the correct steps to take. What is the best way to go about this? I'm not sure I have the financial means or time to go to another university for a degree, and I don't know what path I'm most best suited for in finance.
