I fucking hate "polyamory"

Honestly, it's the most narcissistic, self-absorbed, arrogant, and selfish "sub-culture" ever. It always has to be mentioned, constantly, whenever one of these people opens their mouths. They have to tell everyone they're poly, as if it's something to be proud of, as if they've accomplished something.<br><br>It's always "poly this", "poly that", "I'm poly and I think...", "As a poly person, I can say...". They have their own stupid little subculture, and they won't let you go a single day without hearing them bring it up, since it's the only interesting thing about them.<br><br>And the worst part? They're NOT doing it right. They don't love more than one person, they love themselves, and they want to have their cake and eat it too, they want to be in a relationship, but also be allowed to have random hook-ups and one-night stands. They don't give a single fuck about the other people involved, they only care about their own desires.<br><br>And don't even get me started on the goddamn "educating" they feel the need to do. They think everyone in the world is stupid and uneducated, and that they have to teach us how things "really work", as if they have any idea how real relationships work they're feelings and needs and desires. All these "educational" posts are nothing more than glowingly talking about themselves and how superior they are, and then go on to act surprised when people don't respond with worship and admiration.<br><br>And I swear to god, I've seen more poly people in their 30s and 40s trying to "educate" people in their early 20s about the "correct" science behind polyamory, as if they're experts, than actual experts talking about it. <br><br>Let me put it this way: If someone who's an actual expert in relationships and psychology comes to talk about this subject, and not some random poly asshole who thinks they know everything, then I'll listen. Not because I have anything against poly people, but because I don't want to hear the ramblings of some deluded idiot.
