Why do feminist women always feel like they need to disassociate themselves from radical feminism?

Why do feminist women always feel like they need to disassociate themselves from radical feminism?<br><br>I've recently noticed more feminist women do that on Twitter than ever. I'm not radfem but I do feel like most women are becoming more afraid to say they are feminist with the amount of anti feminist men, women and non binary people on Twitter these days.
