Guys, how to you find your wife/gf?

I've been single for nearly 2 years. I've tried dating apps but it didn't work. I'm not the best talker and a bit shy. So it's been a bit of a struggle. I've tried Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, and MeetMe. I've been to the bar with friends but I don't like bars. I don't know what else I can try. I've tried different school bookstores and what not. I don't think I'm ugly and I'm not shy once I get talking to someone. Any advice for me?
