AITA for giving my BIL a fake copy of my will after he tried to extort me for money?

I recently discovered that I have months to live due to a brain tumor. Prior to this, I had written a pretty standard will, leaving my wife my estate, then my children when she passes, and my sister to inherit a substantial amount if both my wife and children pre-decease me.

After my diagnosis, my sister (48F) approached me with a demand that I rewrite my will to exclude her children from the inheritance and instead give her the share. She told me that she needed the money to start a business and that her children are "self-sufficient" and don't need it. She has two adult sons and two adult daughters.

I was appalled by her demand as I love all of my nieces and nephews incredibly. She has no right to tell me who I can and cannot provide for after my passing. As a result, I refused.

My sister was furious that I wouldn't give in to her demands. I wrote her a very sternly worded letter telling her that if she contacts me again about my will, I will cut all ties with her and her family. I then instructed my wife to inform her that I have rewritten my will to exclude her entirely.

My wife told me I should tell her that instead. I reluctantly agreed and informed my sister that she will not be in my will. My sister was distraught but she apologized and begged for forgiveness.

I forgave her and we continued to talk until her husband (51M) demanded that I give my sister money now, rather than leaving it to her when I pass. I was astounded. He said it was the least I could do, since I wasn't going to leave her anything.

I told them both I would not be giving my sister a penny and she needed to accept that I was cutting her out of my will entirely. My BIL told me he was going to get a court order forcing me to give my sister money and took out his phone to call a lawyer.

I stormed inside my house and slammed the door. When my wife came in, she demanded I hand over a copy of my will so she could take my sister and BIL to a lawyer to get the "justice" she deserved.

I gave her a copy of my will, but it wasn't the real one. The copy I gave her was one I wrote specifically for her. In it, my wife and children receive substantially less than in my real will and my BIL and sister receive the majority.

Pushed by her husband, my sister took the copy of the will I gave her to a lawyer and demanded he get her the justice she deserved. I was told by my niece (her daughter) the next day that the lawyer said she had a good chance of getting what she wanted, but only if she and her husband stopped contacting me directly. He warned her that if she did, it could be seen as coercion and would reflect badly on them in court.

My sister was told to only communicate with me through my wife, so my wife could be the one to browbeat me into giving them money. My wife was angry when I refused, so she demanded to know why I changed my will. I told her my new will leaves her substantially less than before, because if she's so hellbent on taking from her own children and giving to her sister, then she doesn't deserve anything.

She told me she wanted a copy of my will and I agreed. I then gave her another copy of the fake will, but this time all of my money goes to my sister and BIL. In this copy, I had even taken away my wife's inheritance entirely and instead left her my car.

I was told by my niece that my sister went ballistic at the lawyer when he saw the second copy. She told me the lawyer accused her of coercing me into changing my will and told her that because of this, he would not be able to help her and her husband. He told them they gambled and they lost and that if they tried to get their hands on my money again, he would have them charged with coercion.

My wife spent the entire weekend in her bedroom. She hasn't spoken to my sister or BIL since they were turned down by the lawyer.
