Does anyone else get really nervous when they see the American flag waving?

I don't know, it just sends off weird, culty vibes whenever I see it waving. The nationalism, the jingoism and blind patriotism, the fact that our country is the most imperialistic society since WW2 and we paint ourselves as the heroes. <br><br>American exceptionalism is just so crazy to me. I feel like it's wrong to blindly pledge loyalty to any country before the welfare of the rest of the world.
