**Edit: I got a bunch of comments asking what my job is, I would rather not change jobs right now as I have a good relationship with my employer and I like the company culture. However, I am happy to state that I work in the field of business services, and the job title is business analyst.**

Long story short, my employer is currently experiencing some financial difficulties, we are facing significant challenges. However, as we have been through difficult times before, we are optimistic about our chances.

Long story long, i work at a family owned company in a semi-developed country in Central and Eastern Europe. We have a business model which is based on providing business services such as accounting, recruiting etc. - our main service is providing outsourced financial and accounting services. This model relies heavily on the high cost of living difference between Eastern and Western Europe. For instance, if we have a client in Western Europe, we can provide the same services at a lower cost, with the same quality, because we have a lower cost structure. However, this has changed recently, as salaries have risen a lot in the last few years.

We were doing reasonably well, but the recent economic crisis has been a challenge for us. With client companies facing financial difficulties, they are looking for ways to cut costs. Unfortunately, they are a significant part of our revenue, and the situation is impacting us.

We have made efforts to diversify our services and expand to new markets. However, the current economic climate is challenging and our revenue has taken a hit.

In light of this, we recently decided to reduce costs to ensure the sustainability of our business. We made the difficult decision to lower salaries across the board, including mine, by 27%. This change took effect this month.

Although this reduction has presented some challenges for me personally, I am optimistic about the future. My employer has been transparent about the situation and has made it clear that this is a necessary step to ensure the company's survival. I am proud to work for such a dedicated and diligent team. I am confident that we will overcome these challenges together.
