How do you feel about carrying purses/bags

It's something that I find really off after a breakup, how my now ex used to carry her bags. I'm a guy, and I'm aware guys are expected to carry their stuff in their pockets but I really like carrying purses and tote bags. I don't find it emasculating, I just find it comforting. I never grew up with guys around me, and most of my close friends are girls who often talk about their purses and so on. and so with purses/bags I feel a sense of comfort.
