AITA for laughing at my wife for wanting to spend the night in a hospital with a roommate instead of going home to her family after getting her tonsils out?

I (M) am a doctor and my wife (F) is a nurse anesthetist. I had to get my tonsils out because they were causing severe sleep apnea. I have 3 siblings and a dog at home so I was not going to be able to rest and recover properly so I had my wife come with me to the hospital and she offered to stay with me on it of her shift. <br><br>The room I was in had another man in it recovering from kidney stones and there was a room divider, and it isn’t like any of us were going to walk around a hospital room naked. <br><br>So my wife was supposed to get off work at 7 and I was done with my surgery at 2. She said she was gonna take a nap in the call room because she hadn’t slept in over 24 hours and was gonna come back around 6 and sleep over in the hospital with me. <br><br>But around 5 one of the other doctors came in and said “hey, your wife is passed out in the call room, she’s drooling all over the place and snoring so loud!”<br><br>I went in there, and sure enough she was dead asleep and drooling everywhere. I tried to wake her up, but she mumbled something and rolled over. I tried again and she groggily got up and went to the bathroom. <br><br>She came out, rinsed her face with water, and then I told her she could go home, I’ll be fine. <br><br>She said what do you mean? You just asked me to stay over with you. <br><br>I said yeah but I figured you were gonna sleep across town because clearly you can’t wake up! <br><br>She was mad that I made fun of her and said it was unattractive.
