Can anyone recommend the best places to visit in Europe?

Hello everyone, I am thinking about taking a trip to Europe (Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Istanbul, etc.) and I’m just looking for some personal favourite recommendations of places to visit/stay to eat and stuff, what are your favourite places in Europe?<br>I think I’m going to need to stay in the city centre to stay away from the unrest that’s been happening but I have a few questions;<br>- what are your favourite things to do in Europe?<br>- what are some of your favourite restaurants?<br>- are there any particular hotels you recommend?<br>- what should I see in the city? Should I prioritise historical landmarks and museums or is there anything else that you recommend?<br><br>TLDR: I’m planning a trip to Europe and just looking for some personal favourite recommendations and what not.
