Since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated with the concept of being a productive person. From waking up at 6 AM everyday, being able to get good grades, finishing all my tasks early and staying organized through my daily todo lists.

Yes, there are a lot of productivity systems out there, but in my opinion, the most important ones to master would be these 3 skills:

1. **Getting up the minute your alarm goes off**: The most important thing is that you get up to bed on time. You have to create a consistent routine for yourself. If you’re a morning person, you can try to sleep early. If you’re a night person, then you can go to bed late at night. Again, it’s pretty boring but it’s important to create a routine for yourself.

2. **Getting good at prioritizing**: An example of prioritizing would be to do first the things that are important and give you a high return on investment (like cooking, grocery shopping), and to do the things you enjoy last.

3. **Florish and succeed in your work or school**: if you want to be a productive person, you have to evaluate your spending and earning. No matter how much you earn, you should prioritize saving and invest your money instead of buying luxurious and unnecessary things, and also to not spend money on things you don’t need. And if you’re in school, you have to get good grades. If you’re in a job, you have to actually put in effort in whatever that is you’re doing.
It’s all about working smart and being responsible with your time.

Happy new year everyone! What does it mean to be a productive person to you?

Edit: Since I got a lot of questions about how to consistently wake up early, I have 1 tip. It is to get up the minute your alarm goes off. If you’re still feeling groggy, try to walk around for a bit, drink water, and stretch your body.
