TABSS, however. I know that dragons, vampires, werewolves, elves, dwarves, and orcs have been discussed to death, so I'll be looking for "uncommon" fantasy creatures. By "fantasy creatures", I'll be referring to races which most people do not believe in. For example, I've excluded the yeti, because many still claim that it exists, or at least existed. I'll exclude "humanoid" creatures which are nearly indistinguishable from humans.

Here are some fantasy creatures that can be used to liven up your world, arranged by region:

**North American :**
- Wendigos
- Mothmen
- Bigfoot
- Skunk Apes
- Dogmen
- Skinwalkers
- Thunderbirds
- Rougarou
- Caddy
- Pope Lick

**African :**
- Anansi
- Tokoloshe
- Asanbosam
- Apu Punchau
- Nkisi
- Mami Wata
- Adze

**Asian :**
- Oni
- Kappa
- Tengu
- Tsukumogami
- Gashadokuro
- Yuki onna
- Baku
- Gumiho
- Kuchisake onna
- Jiangshi

**European :**
- Jack o' Lantern
- Huldra
- Dullahan
- Buggane
- Merrows
- Selkie
- Bwbach
- Leshy
- Vila
- Rusalkas
- Kikimora
- Liderc
- Nøkken
- Tatzelwurm
- Skinwalker
- Fae
- Troll
- Satyr
- Centaur

**South American :**
- Yacumama
- Cadejo
- Nahuelito
- Chullpa
- Iara
- Encantado
- Cuero
- El Sombrerón
- El Chupacabra
- El Cadejo
- Duendes
- Curupira
- Qarqacha
- Shunka Warakin
- Tunche
- Jasy Jatere
- Pombero
- Yowie
- El Pajaro
- Mapinguari
- Itzpapalotl
- Cizin
- Tlaloc
- Nagual
- Tlaciques
- Aztec Serpent
- Nahual

**Oceanian :**
- Bunyip
- Wagyl
- Wiradjuri
- Wonga Wonga
- Yowie
- Taniwha
- Yowie
- Bebuk
- Koromodako
- Mongolian Death Worm

Edit: I'm going to addirections and regionalize the non-regional creatures to the nearest region
I apologize if the divisions are not altogether accurate
I'll be referring to "fantasy creatures" as supernatural beings of a human-like race that most people do not believe in.
