I realized that destroying the social status hierarchy in class based societies will not lead to anything better

I came to this idea after seeing that every day, I see obese men and/or fat men who are in their 30s and 40s and are very out of shape compared to me, a skinny 19 year old. I've also had a lot of bullying because of my height and being skinny. I'm very insecure about my body because of it. But I see tall, healthy looking men walking around, mostly without any issues. But then I realized, I am also a fat, obese, man who is out of shape in their 30s and 40s to a 19 year old skinny man. There's always going to be someone who looks better than you, and there's always going to be someone who thinks they look better than them. Everyone always has their own insecurities about themselves, and they always compare themselves to other people based on how they look.

I also thought about the fact that my generation has had a lot of social media usage, so you'd expect there to be much more self-awareness and self-love and self-confidence. But in reality, the opposite is true. In fact, I'd say that the people who grew up before the internet were a lot better. There was no social media, and there was a lot more face-to-face interaction, and there was a lot more community and togetherness. It was normal to look at people face-to-face and talk to them. It was like an instinct. Nowadays, it's normal for people to stare at their phones and move their fingers around to communicate with other human beings. It's like that's just something that we're born with.

Social media has just made people dumber. All people think about and care about now is what other people think of them. They're always in a state of comparison. Everyone always has to compare themselves to other people just to feel good about themselves. But what they don't realize is that, they're just creating a cycle where they'll never feel good about themselves, because there's always going to be someone who thinks they look better than them. You will never be able to get some sort of validation of yourself based on how you look, because there's always going to be someone out there who looks better than you. There's always going to be someone who thinks they look better than you.

When I look at a tall, healthy looking man, I can't help but compare myself to them. I can't help but think they look better than me. I can't help but feel jealous of them. I can't help but hate them for being their, exercising, or whatever it is they did to get their bodies. I can't help but hate myself for being lazy, and for not doing anything to my body.

But here's the thing, I'm also a tall, healthy looking man to a lot of teenagers. I'm also better looking than a lot of people. But I don't think about that. Because I'm not them, and I'm not comparing myself to them. I'm only comparing myself to people who I think look better than me. I don't think about comparing myself to other people who look worse than me. I don't think about other people who might be jealous of me. I don't think about how I might look better than a lot of other people.

It's just this awful cycle of constant comparison, self-hatred, and jealousy. I think about the past when it was just everyone living their own lives. They were more self-aware, and they didn't care about what other people thought of them. I think about how everyone really did used to be more laid back, and more down to earth. Everyone used to be more willing to share their thoughts, because everyone was just more willing to listen to others. People used to actually hear each other out and understand where they're coming from. People used to be a lot more willing to actually have face-to-face conversations. But then the internet came, and it changed all of that. People started to get more and more self-conscious. They don't even speak up to other people anymore. They just stare at their phones and post things that don't even make sense on social media. It's like they're just a bunch of idiots, who can't speak, who can't even think for themselves.
