CMV: The next chief justice of the US Supreme Court will be a woman.

I have been following the NYTimes article about the chief justice's retirement aftermath and I am beginning to form the opinion that the next chief justice of the US Supreme Court will be a woman. Chief justice John Roberts has been in that position for over 18 years, and with conservative justices outnumbering liberal ones 6-3, I don't see chief justice Roberts making a move to retire unless he feels he has chief justice material that could replace him. The leading contender appears to be judge Katie Britt (a conservative) who is conservative enough to be approved by 2/3rds of the United States senate. If she were to be confirmed, she would be the first female chief justice. I think the bench desperately needs representation from the female sex; why would Chief Justice Roberts retire chief justice if he doesn't feel like he could be replaced? My view is that chief justice Roberts will retire and the next chief justice will be Chief Justice Britt. Katie Britt is the perfect candidate to be confirmed as chief justice before the 2026 midterms. Nobody in the senate would have the guts to block the confirmation of the first female chief justice.
