CMV: The history of men as oppressors and women as the oppressed is a lie, women were the oppressors in their own subtle ways and men the oppressed historically

The main difference between female oppression and male oppression has been the way it has been portrayed and carried out. Women were oppressed in that women were not treated as equals and were put into a category by men, women were forced to live their lives the way it was planned out for them by men but women controlled the lives of men by making men feel as if they owed women a good life, a nice house, and a family which allowed women to control the lives of men in a lot of ways. In the time women were oppressed, women were able to control who men married by guilt tripping them with their virginity, women were able to control men socially by teaching boys not to cry or show emotion which can lead to depression later on in men's lives, women were allowed to control men sexually by teaching boys that they need to be a "stud" and sleep with lots of women if they want to feel like a real man or if they want to be considered socially acceptable, and they were able to control men financially by spending all of the man's money on themselves and teaching men that a "real man" needs to spend their money on the women they care about. While it was wrong for men to treat women the way they were treated, men were not truly the oppressors throughout history, men were actually the ones being oppressed by women and their subtle ways of controlling men.

Edit: First of all, thank you so much to everyone that has commented or upvoted, this post has gotten so much hate but it has also gotten a lot of support which is great to see. Second of all, to the people calling me sexist or racist or something along those lines, I'm sorry that I have offended so many of you so deeply but I still stand by the fact that men have not been the oppressors throughout history as many have made it out to seem, I do not think men oppress women any more today, the same way women do not oppress men today, and I do not think men should be punished for something that happened hundreds of years ago.
