CMV: The house and senate should only consist of people who have had normal occupations and never a lawyer

It is totally insane and unrepresentative of the people to have mostly lawyers and those who have never done anything but run for office. It should be mostly those who have lived real lives and represented industries such as farming, construction, transportation, and manufacturing.<br><br>Edit, this blew up faster than expected. To answer a few questions I’ve seen around college degrees, 2 out of 3 people in the United States don’t have a college degree. It makes total sense that 2 out of 3 senators should have no degree. Also looks like I missed a r/sat by a couple days. Also I am the guy who also posted about a national suicide line if anyone knows a quick fix for that.
