You see, when these companies will start to heavily rely on AI to gain an upper hand in the market, there will be no differentiator between them anymore. And when there's no differentiator, they can't compete against each other.

What will happen next is that they will start to compete on cost. Nothing else.

When it comes to cost, cheap companies will beat the expensive ones. This is why small companies will be wiped out by mega corps that can keep selling without profit for a long time in order to beat the small ones to death.

But the big corps and small corps will fight each other instead of the small ones. This will lead to a price war.

A price war is a situation in which two or more companies engage in a competitive pricing strategy, where each company continually lowers its prices in an attempt to undercut its competitors and gain market share. This can lead to a downward price spiral, where prices are reduced to the point where they are no longer profitable for the companies involved.

In other words, they will go bankrupt.

Edit: many good comments in this thread.
