I discovered a place that shouldn’t have been there.

The other day I was on my way back home in my car when I had to stop to take a piss. Thankfully I saw a sign near the highway that said “truck stop” and an arrow pointing to a side road, so I followed it. It wasn’t a regular truck stop though. When I turned the corner I saw a small gas station with a foodstore, an Italian restaurant and a small house with smoke coming out of the chimney. The weird thing about it was that none of these buildings had any logo, any lights or signs. There was nothing pointing to a chain, so I guess it was a private endeavour. And then the creepy part: nobody was there. I walked into the foodstore, the restaurant and the gas station, and there was nobody. There were chairs, tables, fridges, everything, but no people. I walked toward the house and was about to knock on the door when a man opened it. He asked me what I was doing there, and I told him that I came to take a piss. He invited me in. But we weren’t in the house we were in some strange room. We were sitting in a circle around a small fire and there was another person standing with his back to us. The man who invited me in told me to wait in this room while he went to get someone to let me into the bathroom, and when he left I tried to see who the person in the back was, but the smoke from the fire made it impossible. Then a woman came in and told me to follow her, so I stood up, threw a “thank you!” in the direction of the man who invited me in but he wasn’t there anymore. The woman guided me through the house and left me in the bathroom, and that’s it. When I came out I wanted to take a look around but there was nobody, I was alone. When I opened the front door I was back at the gas station. When I walked towards it I noticed something even weirder. There was no road where I came from. I was 100% sure that that’s the way I came, but there was nothing. I asked the cashier “how did I get here?”. She looked at me weirdly and said “you parked your car right there” while pointing to a spot a few meters away. I looked and there it was, but I didn’t remember parking. I left the car open and ran toward the road I took to come here but it wasn’t there. There was a small path but I couldn’t see where it led because the thick, foggy forest in front of me blocked my view. I don’t know how to explain this, anyone lived in this place. There were signs of life but nobody was there. It was as if I dreaming, but I wasn’t. Where was this place? And how did I get there? I have 0 explanation. Also, if someone knows a similar place please tell me, I really want to go there again.
