What is wrong with the American economy?

I'm not American but I've noticed a lot of weird things in their economy from an outsider perspective.

1. All large companies seem to be American, from tech to fast food, even new ones like TikTok competitor Snapchat. What prevents other developed countries from creating large companies with global reach? Where's the EU's Facebook, Google, McDonald's?

2. For some reason the US seems to have a huge amount of low-wage labour. I get why the US would have a lot of immigrants but I don't get where all the immigrants are coming from and why Latin America seems to be in such a shambles that half of its people need to immigrate to the US.

3. Work culture in the US seems to be very strange. Americans seem to always be working more hours than any other developed country and for some reason never complain about this.

4. All the cities in the US seem to be in disrepair and dilapidation, even places like San Francisco or New York. In contrast every European city seems to be well maintained and clean.

5. Despite all the industry and companies the US seems to be the only developed country that has widespread poverty and homelessness. We literally don't have this in other countries. Why is this?

6. Most of the national debt is owed to its own citizens. Why do these people buy national debt instead of investing it in industry or something?

7. It seems like everything good in the US is in private hands. Private schools, private hospitals, private courthouses. Why is this?

8. The US seems to be the only developed country that doesn't have any sort of national healthcare or even universal childcare. Even Eastern European countries like Bulgaria or Serbia have these.

9. Everything seems to be centered around one city. Why is Wall Street in NYC specifically? Is there something wrong with the rest of the country? It seems like the US has no other cities besides New York and Washington which is its capital.

10. What's up with tipping culture? Why does everyone need tipped and tipped so much, even people you wouldn't normally tip like hairdressers?

11. For some reason the US seems to be the only developed country where if you get fired you will lose all of your healthcare. We don't have this even in post-communist Eastern Europe.

12. A lot of things seem to be prohibited in large parts of the country and the laws seem influenced by religion. Even Germany and the rest of Western Europe has legalised marijuana.

13. Although the US has a large amount of immigrants the country seems to be lacking a lot of services you would expect if it had so many migrants. I'm not sure if this is a result of a lack of national investment or what.

14. For some reason the US seems to be the only developed country that has widespread graft and corruption. Even post-communist countries seem to have less of this.

15. Despite the US being by far the largest economy most people working there seem to make less money than workers in smaller countries in Europe.
