I'm 23 and I am so over the digital age on a college budget

I'm a student and I have a part time job, so I'm obviously never going to be rich anytime soon. However, with the economy being what it is, I still am able to get by on my budget on the basics - food, shelter, clothing, paying my student loans, and a few other necessities.

What kills me is that a lot of things I want to do, are so expensive when it comes to developing digital skills. Even just getting some subscriptions to things like Audible, Duolingo, and a gym membership. I feel as if those are basic things that are expected of most people now, in order to have a high level of quality of life.

Is anyone else like this? Or am I just being a whiny bitch?
