I don't understand why we are still debating UBI and automation tax. In the next couple of years, millions of jobs are going to be lost to AI. In the next 10 years, AI will be more commonplace than the internet.<br><br>I think it is necessary for government to now hold companies that use AI responsible for the damage it causes by paying a tax similar to carbon tax and use the funds from it to support those who lose their jobs. I realize that this is a complex problem and there is no easy solution -- but some measures now will help mitigate the worst of it.
