Anyone know where I can buy a cat?

I am interested in owning a cat. I live in Australia. I don't have any experience with cats (I'm currently a dog owner) but I understand the responsibility. I just don't know where I can buy a cat.<br><br>I know I can get one from the RSPCA, but I want a full blood cat, preferably a Siamese or Persian. I've tried googling breeders but I feel like I'm being scammed by the ones I've found. I've looked into the cat registries and they have nothing.<br><br>Any suggestions? Thanks so much :)
