How long until they catch on?

It's truly insane the amount of people who week after week year after year will go to big box stores and purchase western conifer seed bugs. I'm seeing tons of people purchase the bugs, but not know anything about the bugs. I tell them how to care for them but I'm sure a lot of them are still going to their deaths. It's sad week after week looking at every spruce in the nursery to see if there are any bugs on them. I see other insects like spiders, lady bugs, and praying mantis, but almost never spruce bugs. They don't want spruce bugs which is why they're sold at such a low price. I don't see this ending anytime soon, but it's sad for the bugs.
