If you can afford to do so, do not buy anything but essentials

This is probably stupid and obvious, but I just came from Walmart and I had to share. Everything is coming in stock. I don’t know about you all, but in my area (US) it was insane. But the weeks are getting better and we are getting closer to having everything re-stocked.

I was at Walmart and I saw two women arguing over a pack of water. This pack of water was a package of 36 bottles and one of the ladies was taking the last package to buy for her kids. The other lady said she had kids too but she asked if she could have one bottle from the package. I don’t know how to explain what happened, but the lady with all the water started yelling at the lady and saying that her kids came first. Not only do I think that her kids don’t need that much water, but I think this is a really good example of what happens when you stock up on the essentials.

If you can afford to do so, don’t panic buy. Everything is coming back in stock. I don’t think it’s fair that people are stockpiling. Don’t get me wrong, stock up, but not to the extend that we are seeing.

If you are able to do so, don’t buy anything but essentials. The lack of stock isn’t because of lack of supply, its people like the lady that bought 36 bottles of water. May sound petty, but it’s heartbreaking to see.
