I just started meal prepping a week ago and I don't want to over complicate it since I'm just starting out but I'm not sure on prices of stuff. <br><br>I'm making <br>salad with<br>* chicken<br>* grains (quinoa, rice, etc.)<br>* roasted vegetables<br>* cheese<br>* spinach and mixed greens<br>* little bag of fruit in my lunch<br>* I'm making chicken thighs and cooking them in the oven and them them in a separate container<br><br> <br>I try to eat a total of 1200 calories a day. I.Came up with some estimated prices<br><br>* spinach $2.49<br>* rice/quinoa $2.49<br>* salad dressing $2.49<br>* chicken thighs $3.99<br>* cheese $3.99<br>* grape tomatoes $.99<br>* avocado $1.99<br>* strawberries $.99<br>* apples $.99 <br>* apple sauce $.99<br>* clementines $.99<br>* oranges <br>* asparagus $.99<br>* peppers $.99<br><br>I'm thinking about air fryer chicken breast and I think they're $4.99<br><br>If anyone and tell me why they started meal prepping I would really appreciate it<br><br>If you have any tips or things you would change about my meal prep I would really appreciate it thanks
