Please, for the love of all things good, stop demonising AI. It's awful for all of us.

I'm one of those people who love AI. I love everything that it's achieved and I love the potential it has. I've been relatively quiet about this demonisation of AI until recently, but now I don't find it bearable anymore to see people downvoting posts or comments that I write just because it's about AI.

AI is an exceptional technology that creates jobs, helps people and improves lives. It saves us time and it increases efficiency.

I would like to share an example of a recent comment that I wrote about 5 jobs that ChatGPT has given me:

"I'm a web developer, I make websites with the help of AI. Some of the websites I make I use ChatGPT to help me write the content. I also use ChatGPT to help me design the website's UI/UX. So it's easy to arrange things in a way that will attract the most clients.

But I'm not a graphic designer and nor do I want to be so I hire a graphic designer to make the logos for the website and the graphics. That's another job.

I also hire a marketing agent to market the website. That's another job.

I hire a maintenance agent to keep the website running smoothly and that's another job.

And finally, I hire an SEO agent to help the website rank higher on google.

I'm not a business owner who exploits my workers. I'm just a person who is self employed. I have exactly the same ambitions as you. And if you read this post carefully, you will understand that ChatGPT has given me 5 jobs. And that number is increasing all the time. That's the truth if people are willing to listen to it."

That got 2 upvotes and 15 downvotes and I just decided to make this post today. It made me feel shocked and disrespectful that people are just downvoting my posts literally because of the fact that they're about AI

I sincerely hope things change.
