Despite being one of the deadliest conflicts to occur in the past 12,000 years, why don’t we learn more about the Qing conquest of the Ming?

It feels like this conflict is often glossed over when compared to other conflicts of similar magnitude.<br><br>Edit: I am not talking specifically about the fall of Beijing, but the entire multi decade war involving the transition.
