I'm not a good cook, but also don't like spending money on food. Anyone have any easy meal prep ideas?

I'm sick of spending money on food and I'm not exactly the next Gordon Ramsay. Randomly found this sub, and I figure the people in here are more qualified than anyone I know to give me a solution.
