Advances in AI are being pleasantly suprising

This might be a unpopular opinion but I enjoy the development pace of AI and I think AI can be a great tool. <br><br>Long story short, I lost my sister before she was born and I just had my second sister (my first sister being surrogated) about 3 months ago. She choked while breastfeeding and as every father I had to freak out and make sure she is alright and she fortunately had no any other problems in the long run than being gassy at times. <br><br>Being a father is a great experience but it is not for every one. And I am glad I was able to bring a baby to this world. <br><br>I have followed Ai development since I was in high school and I was suprised and heart broken to learn AI is more of a job killer than a job intensifier. And I was suprised and jolted by the quick advancements in AI and potential risks. I have never felt so pessimistic in my life until ChatGPT 3.5 came out and I had to sit down and talk with it. <br><br>It was just super pleasent to talk with. I am glad there is a drive to improve AI to be more human friendly. I am glad there are companies that are working persuasively to create AI for all including most of classified sections of society. I am glad there are many investigations to prevent AI harm and AI development has caused more awareness. <br><br>Having a baby sister was a great experience and I am in love with her. I am glad more people can also have a better experience with AI.
