What are the basics of pairing two dogs up to breed correctly?

I'm looking to breed my two dogs (Buster and Yeti) in the future but I don't know what to do. The breeder I got them from was aware I was planning on breeding them together and she said they would be a great pair but I don't know the basics for breeding two dogs up correctly and if I should wait a certain amount of time. My dogs are currently 10 and 11 months old. What should I do before I start breeding?
