CMV: The USA is a horrible place to live

I have lived all over the world and everywhere has its good and bad. I have lived in the USA and I can say that it is probably one of the worst countries to live in. The USA has a lot of problems and I don't think that they get enough attention. I can't say that any other country is better but I know that they do lots of things right that the USA does wrong. For instance, in Portugal, healthcare is basically free and if you are in a lower income you don't have to pay any out of pocket. Portugal also has laws that make it impossible for people to end up homeless and something call Casa used for housing first which helps to put people in homes and get back on track. They also give you stipends to help support yourself until you can get back on your feet. This is just a small example of things but in my opinion, the USA is a horrible place to live. <br><br>Edit: <br>I am an American who has lived in Portugal for 11 years. I have used the free public services like healthcare, free public transportation, free education and other things and it is all amazing. I don't think that the USA does things well and I have lived in other countries and used their public services and it was all good. <br><br>Edit 2: <br>I am not saying that Portugal is the greatest country ever. I said I have lived all over the world and I am not saying that any other country is better but that the USA is one of the worst. So in my opinion, Portugal and other countries are all better than the USA.
