What do I call my Aunt's partner?

My Aunt who is in her 60's came out a few years ago and got her own house after being married for 30 years. She recently started seeing someone and they will spend most nights together at the new house.

She told me that she doesn't like the word "girlfriend" because it feels like they are 25 years old again. But when her partner is in a room I feel really bad saying "my aunt" because it feels like I am forgetting this person.

I don't want to sing "I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game" and call her something weird like partner. I just want to know the most commonly used phrase in the LGBTQ+ community.
