“Formula to help you lose weight? I’m sick of formulas to help me lose weight, I am here to learn” [This is about something else]

Got me thinking about the abundance of formulas to help us study in this subreddit. I’m sick of formulas to help me study! I am here to learn science! I am here to learn and grow. /c/Pomodoro. /c/10MinuteStudy. /c/80/20. /c/ThreeStepStudy. /c/1MinuteStudyTips.<br><br>Too often, the best help I’ve gotten has come from a one to one session with a TA. I am here to learn science. I am here to learn and grow. I can just memorize all these formulas, I’m a really good memizer. I’ve memorized every one of these formulas by heart. But what am I learning? What am I really accomplishing?<br><br>/c/StudyTips. /c/Study. /c/StudyTips are all so slow to give us actual tips to help us learn. Most people are actually here to learn, or so I thought. I come here and I just see a bunch of formulas. It’s very frustrating to come here and have to wade through all these formulas in order to find someone who actually is trying to help you learn. Why can’t we have an r/Learn instead of an r/StudyTips? I don’t want to study tips. I want to learn. I want to learn how to study when I’m not actually studying. I want to learn how to use my free time. I want to learn about every single subject that has ever been discovered. I want to learn so much. I want to learn so much it makes my head hurt. How do I learn? /c/StudyTips is much more concerned with how to study instead of how to learn. I’m sick of formulas to help me study, I am here to learn.<br><br>/c/Study and /c/StudyTips are for learning formulas, but what if we don’t want to learn formulas? What if we want to learn to learn? Why can’t we have a place for that? Why can’t we have an r/Learn? I have literally 1000 pending friend requests on Duolingo because I just want to learn. I don’t want to memorize formulas. I don’t want to learn tips on how to study. I don’t want to learn formulas to help me study. I just want to learn.<br><br>/c/Learn. /c/TipsForLearning. /c/LearnToLearn. /c/LearnTips. Why don’t these exist? Why is there so much focus on study tips in these chambers, and why is there no place in the entire world where I can just go to learn? I want to learn so much. I just want to learn. I don’t want to study. I don’t want to memorize formulas. I don’t want to learn tips. I don’t want to learn how to study. I want to learn.<br><br>/c/Study and /c/StudyTips are the two most popular chambers for learning, but all they do is teach you formulas. They don’t teach you how to learn. They don’t even teach you how to study. They just teach you formulas. And you use those formulas to study. But what if you want to learn? What if you want to learn how to study? What if you want to learn how to learn? I want to learn so much. I just can’t stop learning. I am so fascinated by learning. I am so fascinated by studying. But my fascination with studying isn’t about the formulas. It’s not about the tips. It’s about learning. I am so fascinated in learning now, and I can’t stop. I just can’t stop learning.
