Does anyone else feel like heroin is really changing?

I take it for my chronic pain and casually drank the stuff mixed with xanax a couple years ago. It was awesome and soon I was just using it to get high because it was so awesome. Now I have to take it every day to feel normal and idk it's not the same. I just wanna feel like I did when I first took it and now I'm so disappointed I never stockpiled it.
