I'm an anti capitalist but I dislike Communism, what should I read?

I live in the US and the whole "Communism is bad" narrative is pretty strong here. I get why, from what I can tell it doesn't usually end well, but I also hate Capitalism, is there anything else I should look at? I dislike religion and cults, so I'd like to avoid those. I've heard a few people talk about Anarchism, but I don't really know much about it.
