Wrong people are opposing AI

I am worried that the wrong people are opposing AI. For example Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Russian Billionaires and other tech billionaires are now actively opposing AI, but we need to be careful as their efforts are only to delay and control the development of AI, and not to outright ban it. In a way its like the fox guarding the chicken coop. They are billionaires who are already powerful, they don't need AI to become more powerful or influential or rich. <br> <br>I want to see ordinary people, whose livelihood, jobs, careers and businesses are at risk of being made obsolete by AI, to rise up and protest against AI. They are the ones who would benefit the most by opposing AI, and are more likely to demand outright ban of AI, rather than delayed or controlled development. I want to see regular people protesting in the streets, rioting, destroying AI labs and protesting against the billionaires who benefit from AI.
