I've stayed normal for months. I've tried to keep the peace with my white male-identifying lovers who just love Trump. I've kept my political views off of social media. I've stayed inside and tried to ride it out.

I'm done.

Somewhere along the lines, people have forgotten that there is such a thing as real life. Well, I have news for you: if you voted for Trump, you're a chauvinist. If you voted for Trump, you're a racist. If you voted for Trump, you hate LGBTQ people.

You have the privilege of hiding behind your phone or computer and refusing to state your political views. You have the privilege of staying quiet at the dinner table. That's over.

If I find out that you voted for Trump, it will be a cold day in hell before I ever speak to you again. You do not get to claim that you're a feminist and refuse to state your politics. You do not get to claim that you're a feminist and vote for a sexist. Fuck you.

Welcome to your real life.

EDIT: THANK YOU to everyone who upvoted this post and to those who sent me gold (it's my first gold ever, and it's very much appreciated!). Y'all rock.

EDIT 2 (since this is getting a lot of views): To clarify, I am not calling out women who are not eligible voters. If you're too young to vote, or you're an immigrant and can't vote here, or you're a felon and can't vote, this is not for you. This is for women who actually voted for Trump.

EDIT 3 (since apparently this is really hard for some people to understand): This is not calling out women who didn't vote for Hillary. This is calling out women who voted for Trump. If you voted for Johnson, or if you voted third-party, then this is not for you. If you literally voted for the man who is an open sexist, racist, and homophobic man, you're a chauvinist, you hate people of color, and you hate LGBTQ people.

EDIT 4 (since a lot of people seem confused and I want to clear this up): I did not and will not vote for anyone who promotes hate or violence. If someone who was openly sexist, homophobic, or racist was running as a democrat, I would not vote for them. If someone who was openly sexist, homophobic, or racist was running as an independent, I would not vote for them. You all know your hearts, and you all know what you voted for. If you can look in the mirror and say, 'Yes, I stand by that decision', then I respect that.
