Major Update: I am the President of the University of Idaho. We recently received some disturbing comments from a user claiming to be a student from our university. I am here to verify that user and answer any questions you all may have.

Hey all. I wanted to update this thread and let you know that I verified the authenticity of the user in question. The comments were made by one of our students and they are in the process of being expelled. We take threats like this very seriously and have a zero tolerance policy. If you have any questions, please let me know.<br><br>Edit #1: Hey all. I wanted to take a moment to address this so that we can move on from it. First, I want to say that the threats made by this student were unacceptable. Second, I want to thank the users who reached out and let us know about the situation. Without you, this may not have been possible. Third, I want to address the amount of hate and vitriol that many of you have directed at our university and students. It is disappointing to see many of you make assumptions about an entire student body and university based off of the actions of one person. We made the right decision here and SOS will not be welcome on our campus. We will be moving on from this situation and I suggest that all of you do as well.<br><br>Edit #2: Hey all.
