I can't be the only person who feels like they're delusional for not working overtime, right?

I (51m) am a software engineer. I work for a large consulting company.

I don't work outside of my eight hours a day. I do a decent job. It's not perfect, but it works, it's good enough, and my co-workers like me. Our job is just to integrate third-party software and rebrand it.

My co-workers regularly work out of hours. Sometimes I'm forced to do a tiny bit of overtime if something needs to be done immediately, but other than that, I always shut everything down when I'm done with my eight hours.

I'm getting more and more afraid because everyone around me always talks about all their overtime and says how they have to put in 60 or 50 hours a week to get their work done and keep up with their projects.

Am I seriously the only person who all these jobs feel realistically doable and sustainable at 40 hours a week? Or am I going to be fired or passed over for a promotion because I work "normal" hours?
