Why do I have to be moral?

I'm not religious. I don't find meaning in morality because it doesn't really mean anything to me past natural laws.<br><br>I don't want to by hypocritical and be immoral. I have trouble answering people when they ask me "Why be moral?" and I just shrug.<br><br>I'm not looking for answers from religion. Why should I have to be moral when it's the best interest of me to become immoral?<br><br>I want to be a good person. I just want to know what "being a good person" truly means outside of the textbook and other's opinions.
