Hey guys, I know that this sub is no fan of flashcards whatsoever, but I still want to post my experience.

I've been learning German for 2 years now, and I can say that I'm pretty proficient, even fluent in the language. I'm sure that my German is better than most Germans my age.

The most useful resource to me during my language learning was a flashcard app. All my vocab is in flashcards, and I know almost every word in the language. I'm sure of it.

I know that this isn't the general opinion in this sub, and I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. This is my experience.

So, is this sub the only one on chambers that's not a fan of flashcards? I've been to a ton of other language learning subs, and they all seem to like flashcards. Why's that?
